The Law Society of Kenya has officially launched a new digital portal designed to connect advocates willing to provide pro bono services with individuals who cannot afford legal representation.
About the Portal
The portal, accessible through the LSK website, allows members of the public to submit requests for free legal assistance. Registered advocates can then volunteer to take on cases in their areas of expertise.
Areas of Focus
- Criminal defense for indigent defendants
- Family law matters including child custody and domestic violence
- Labor and employment disputes
- Land and housing rights
- Environmental law cases
Wangai Nyuthe & Co. Advocates has registered on the portal and committed to handling a minimum of 10 pro bono cases per year as part of our corporate social responsibility program.
